Sunrise on the end of a local beach I photographed long ago. The early light is just catching the tree trunks at the viewer's end of the copse of trees and shrubbery. Soft pastels on Lux Archival sanded paper using hard pastel underpainting with alcohol wash, soft pastels over top to finish.
