My mother passed away at the age of 90 just as COVID shut everything down in 2019. I was fortunate enough to have spent some time with her a few weeks prior to that and one of her requests was for us to take her to the ocean that where she always felt at peace. On this particular day we felt a sense of calm and a whisper off the waves that she would be "going home," soon.
