We were raised to love the outdoors. Wandering in fields the milkweed were, and still are a favorite. My favorite time is as the milkweed goes to seed as a promise for next years' crop. As a tribute to my Mom this piece has a water color underpainting . The pods were created with Richeson and Great American soft pastels plus NuPastel and Conte pencil accents.
