The symbol of the eagle/bird is interwoven in different cultures. In essence it is the connection to the divine or whatever man names it, God, Universe ie
In particular the gods of egypt in the form of half man half bird were depicted in stone holding a' handbag'. The eagle depicted in the picture is a symbol for the divine. It holds the keti (a maori word for bag) bag of knowledge which is being given. The brain represents the mind and it is constricted by barbed wire. The barbed wire in many ways is the torment that leads us astray from becoming our true self . It comes with our own negativity, jealousy all the dark side of our nature that leads us astray and traps us. It prevents us from seeing that there is more in life than the bubble we find ourselves in.
The scales is kamar. Every action is weighed. The snake entwining the spine has no emotion. Judgement or the karmic effect is not vindictive or malicious it is there for us to learn lessons to become higher than ourselves. The water is purity and the feather freedom. Freedom is there, freeing us from our own constraints
