I met this fellow this summer at a petting zoo, and he just had such character I knew he needed to be painted! I used soft pastels and a bit of pastel pencil to finish some of the details . Fast marks seemed to be the only to paint him, he was on the move ! I wanted to capture his energy and possible insanity !
